Plastic Processing - Vacuum Forming

In 2001 started its operation our plastic processing and packaging plant. Initially, we made our business by producing cold kitchen trays, boxes, jars, dessert inlays, displays, but also by designing and implementing packaging for unique products.
A special field of our business was the the production of disposable cold kitchen trays. Trays serving from one to twelve persons we produced countless types in different shapes in white and transparent colours. To our knowledge we have the largest selection of shapes in Europe. In order to maintain our leading position we have been expanding our offer with new models every year.
The backbone of our range consist of different types of product families. E.g. Trays for 1 to 2 to 3 or  4 - 6 persons NOVA family for 3 - 5 - 10. Our uniquely designed hotel breakfast trays, and trays for 10, and 12  persons, Pannonia trays, salad bowls, etc. are all custom made. The 8-person trays come in two versions; we have got them in brick and oval shapes.
Our trays with lids have a special place within our range for desserts (and 8 persons), their lower part is made of a white material and the lids are transparent.
All of our trays can be produced in white or transparent colours on request.
Their material is primarily first class PVC which bears cooling well and unlike Polystyrene does not become fragile. Thus, trays can be stored for years and although not made for this purpose can be used countless times in special cases.
We have accepted the decision of the EU to ban the use of disposable plastic products. In this case, the emphasis on community purpose is perfectly understandable, and we do not want the thrown away, hard-to-decompose waste to ruin Earth in the long run, either. Therefore, the above mentioned description should be considered as an interesting fact rather than a current offer!
The design and production of blisters for the placement of the products of various perfumery companies play an important role in our packaging technology activities.
The line was started by Nívea, but now we are producing individual and collective packaging of Christmas products for many French manufacturers.
Of course, we also produce blisters for the export of our own Bio Candles and we even carry out blistering ourselves. Without being immodest we may say that in recent years, we have become recognized experts in this special field of plastic processing. We will be happy to give advise and will be honored if you share your plans with us.
For agriculture, raspberry, strawberry, etc. trays; and for the construction industry we produce standard and special service (revision) doors.
All the widespread objections and complaints about metal doors have led to the development of our products. During the design and implementation we relied on the experience and guidance of architects, investors, contractors and ÉMI experts.Our doors are weather proof, UV-resistant PVC or polystyrene. They are made of polystyrene base material in standard sizes (15 x 15 cm, 20 x 20 cm, 30 x 30 cm). On request, these doors can also be supplied with a transparent plate!
Having sold more and more of our basic products in accordance with their value in use, we decided to make larger doors (35 x 50 cm, 35 x 60 cm) to meet the needs of the user community, thereby eliminating the existing shortage.
We offer a literally indefinite warranty on our products, as opposed to metal doors that can corrode after 1 to 1.5 years, these doors are made of 100 % plastic. The opening hinges are Al - Si alloys and the key lock has been replaced by an ingenious, perfect locking solution. Unlike commercially available, low-cost, injection-molded plastic doors (which, after a few openings tend to break and need to dismantle) we guarantee 10,000 openings - closings, and to avoid costly disassembly we provide constant spare part supply.
Another advantage over metal doors is that our doors can be wallpapered and tiled so they can be fitted more discreetly. They are relatively lightweight due to their base material, and are therefore can easily be built into suspended ceilings where they are well resist to various light, sound and smoke effects.
Thanks to their excellent thermal and acoustic insulation, they can be used more widely than their metal counterparts, not to mention that they do not conduct electricity and are therefore well suited for covering electrical connections.
They are inserted into the openings with adhesive which takes a fraction of time compared to dowelling and screwing. Their price is 70-80% of the price of metal doors.
We of course, produce goods not only our own designs and inventions but due to their implementation we are part of their market success.
These include the floating tea candle, the fishing line and  -roll holder, etc., but we are also manufacturers of the world patented Energy Spiral.
ESD Logistics Trays
The proportion of disposable cold kitchen trays among our products have dropped to a few percent, so product change has not caused much of a shock to our company. All the more so, that since 2003, we have been taking on a growing role in custom made logistic trays.
Finally, our vacuum forming plant has been specialized in manufacturing of ESD Logistic Trays.
Over the past few years, we have mastered all the tricks of processing this special raw material.
First, as pioneers, we focused on organizing production, and then we increasingly focused on specialization. This includes custom-made vacuum forming machines, the material used (PS ESD), its thickness (0.6 - 3.0 mm), the size of the trays (300 x 400 and 400 x 600 mm) ... etc.
Initially, we needed the help of "external" tool designers and makers, which created a lot of conflicts: it slowed down our work and generated quality and deadline issues.
It was obvious that in order to move on, we would take over all activities related to the production of trays. We first bought a CNC milling machine. Later we have reached the point where besides plastic processing also metal processing has become a core activity of HUNGAROTRADE Ltd.
Currently, our own engineers design and manufacture the vacuum tools needed for production.
Our investments have finally paid off. Today we are able to fulfill complete orders (design, vacuum tool and tray manufacturing) in an extremely short time.
For example, if the customer hands over the product or its 3D drawing on Monday, the tray design will be completed by Tuesday. After approval, the vacuum tool will be manufactured by Thursday and the samples will be in the buyer's hands on Friday. And on Monday serial production may begin ...
In our experience, flexibility and complexity are increasingly valued in today's world. A huge advantage is the short production time, the taking on of smaller series and even the most special requests.
Today, we design hundreds of trays, produce hundreds of vacuum tools and produce hundreds of thousands of trays annually. We produce ESD trays primarily for automotive electronics companies, but also ship directly to the US, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil and China. Our trays help the work in the assembly halls of renowned car manufacturers such as Audi, BMW, Porsche, Bugatti, Fiat, Ford, Jaguar, Volvo, WV etc.  and contribute to the safe transport of microelectronic components.
We have a steady supply of raw materials (about 60 tons), thus guaranteeing that the lack of raw materials will not hinder production. In each case, we deliver the ordered quantity on time, and even try to satisfy the extra needs of our partners. In urgent cases, we manufacture the trays for the next day. Our colleagues work in three shifts, so we can handle orders more flexibly.
We buy the raw material (104-6 Ohm) from Germany and guarantee its quality.
We basically use 0.6; 0.8; 1.3; 1.8; 2.5mm and 3mm thick materials for our trays, depending on size, load and intended use.
If our partners have their own tools that will speed up the start of the production, but we also undertake the design, and production of new tools within a short time. In case of higher expected number of pieces, we will produce the Aluminium tool and knife needed for production free of charge.
It is well known that for each microelectronic parts an individually designed ESD log tray is needed. The cost of these tools and raw materials is quite high, and it is lengthy due to the consultation needed to finalize the mold.
To overcome this issue, as an interim solution, we manufacture ESD Operator Boxes trays with or without lidsd, which by their base material provide electrostatic protection to components while allowing safe transport and storage during assembly.
Their specific cost is a fraction of the cost of trays and can be widely used. Of course, they cannot replace special trays when transporting the final product, but they are a great help in the workflow.
